Addelita Cancryn School to Conduct Mandatory Orientations for 2019-2020

Virgin Islands Department of Education

The Addelita Cancryn Intermediate and Junior High School will conduct mandatory student orientations for the 2019-2020 school year on Aug. 28 and 29 and Sept. 3 in the Lockhart School cafeteria.

Students must attend orientation in full school uniform and be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Students must present a photocopy of their updated immunization record, insurance record (if covered by private insurance), and a medical letter for students with medical conditions; and they must pay required school fees. The school prefers to avoid make-up orientations; therefore, students and parents are asked to be present on the appropriate orientation date.

The Cancryn School will be temporarily housed in the Lockhart building and the modular units currently on the Charlotte Amalie High School tennis courts. Students in grades 4-6 will wear the Lockhart uniform; students in grades 7 and 8 will wear the Addelita Cancryn Junior High School uniform.
